Desert Rose Wedding in Petra Gorge -

Imagine getting married in one of the Seven Wonders of the World? ‘Rose Red Petra’ is one of the most stunningly beautiful, atmospheric and unique places in the world and you can get married in front of the Byzantine Monastery deep inside the gorge and hold a spectacular wedding reception amongst the natural pillars of an ancient civilisation.   The after party is held in Wadi Rum and in the Citadel overlooking Amman.

Fly by private jet to Amman, where your exclusive wedding planner is waiting with limousines to take you to the Presidential Suite in the luxury Le Royal Hotel. Your guests can be accommodated in a variety of hotels in Amman.  This evening there is a private drinks reception followed by a traditional Nabataean dinner.
 
After breakfast everyone transfers to the station to board the narrow gauge Hedjaz Railway of Lawrence of Arabia fame.  The carriages of the train will have been transformed into your exclusive wedding train and a champagne reception and lunch will be served on board as you travel south across the desert to the ‘Rose City’ of Petra.  Musicians will accompany you on the train.  A limousine will take you to your suite at the luxury Taybat Zaman Hotel and Resort and your guests will go by private coach to their respective hotels in Petra.   Tonight there is a private dinner in a local village or at the Taybat Zaman Hotel and Resort for you and your wedding party. 

Wedding day
Relax this morning with spa treatments in preparation for your special day and before the hairdresser arrives.  A special wedding carriage will take you to the entrance of Petra Gorge where a veiled wedding palanquin awaits the bride and a decorated camel for the groom! A fanfare of musicians lead the way and your guests follow the entourage on foot as you proceed through the famous As-Siq gorge for your religious wedding in one of the Seven Wonders of the World.  The wedding ceremony takes place on the steps of the glorious Byzantine Monastery in Petra.  The wedding party then continue through the gorge to a secluded area engulfed by the wonderfully sculptured red rocks that Petra is so famous for.  The area will be lavishly furnished with carpets, cushions and beautifully scented flowers and incense.  A champagne reception will be accompanied by soft melodies from flutists sitting on the walls of the gorge.  A full silver-service wedding banquet will be served under a delicate muslin canopy.  As the sunsets walk back through the candlelit gorge and transfer by limousine to your hotels. 

Relax this morning in your suite.  Luxury coaches transfer the wedding guests to Wadi Rum where a beautiful picnic lunch will be served in Bedouin tents. You arrive more sedately by limousine.  Late afternoon your wedding guests return to Amman, and you head back to spend some private time in your suite in the hotel in Petra.  

After a relaxing morning and lunch in your suite a private helicopter transfers you to Amman to join your guests for the after party.  Your guests have spent the morning visiting to the archaeological site of Jerash or enjoying time at a health spa on the Dead Sea.  This evening there is a private party in the Roman Citadel in Amman.  Enjoy dinner and dancing to live music under the stars and in the most spectacular setting overlooking the city of Amman.

Your guests return the UK and you commence your honeymoon at a luxury Dead Sea spa and resort or in Dubai.
