| 8 October | Arrive Nairobi. Fly directly by private light aircraft to an airfield close to your exclusive tented camp located in prime Big Cat Diary country in the Masia Mara. With every comfort of a private luxury home, a mobile camp is the ultimate bush experience – intimate and with total seclusion. This is camping in style – it’s cool and chic, with a very special atmosphere. Turn off your default button because the outside world ceases to exist here and immerse yourself in to the rhythm of nature and life on the plains. Meals are al fresco or taken in the fully furnished mess tent. Relax and socialise around the campfire or in the sofa-filled lounge. Hot water, ensuite tents, luxury linens and comfortable beds add to your ‘Out of Africa’ experience. Afternoon game drive. |

There’s no set timetable other than nature’s own – your days will begin shortly before dawn and end as the sun sets. Time stands still when you are out with Simon – his enthusiasm is infectious and his ability to make all wildlife behaviour exciting is extraordinary. Simon hopes to follow some of the Big Cat Diary characters that he has filmed over the years and to update you on Notch, the Marsh Pride (lions), Olive & Binti (leopards), and Malaika, the cheetah regularly seen jumping on the roof of vehicles. |
| 14 October | Final game drive. Fly to Nairobi. Dinner in Nairobi. Depart Nairobi at 2345 hours. |
| 15 October | Arrive London Heathrow 0645 hours. |
